Pádraig began his professional journey as the lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the band Wallmark. The band signed a worldwide distribution deal and released their debut album, Everything, Something, Anything, in 2005. Following the band's split, Pádraig launched a successful solo career under his own name and occasionally the moniker Autumn Long.
His solo debut album, Drown The Truth, was released in 2012 through his own label, Took Records, and was partially completed and mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios with producer Karl Odlum and engineer Steve Rooke. The album received an MRU Best Album nomination, and the song "Ships Fall" was featured on a Vienna Songwriters Club compilation alongside artists like Van Morrison.
